The AARE Blog, EduReseach matters, was re-launched in April 2014 as a forum to support Australian educational researchers in getting their work 'out there' into the public space.

SIG News

SIG News includes information relating to SIG funding for 2014, including annual funding and competative grants, new SIGs for 2014, changes to SIG leadership guidelines including call for nominations, changes to processes for SIG dinner payments, and proposals for new SIGs.

AARE Award for Doctoral Research in Education – Nominations Open!

The Australian Association for Research in Education makes an annual award known as "the AARE Award for Doctoral Research in Education". This award is intended as recognition of excellence in educational research by doctoral students.

On the weekend of 9-11 May, 40 enthusiastic early career researchers and higher degree research students, from six Australian states and territories, gathered at ACU’s North Sydney Campus. They spent the weekend participating in AARE’s theory workshops, which are held each year as part of AARE’s aim to provide research development and professional learning for novice researchers.
