Abstract:
The paper examines some of the results of case studies of institutional impact of the Participation and Equity Program. The results were obtained using complementary methods of analysis. Firstly descriptive accounts of the impact of PEP were created. Secondly individual and cross site analyses were carried out in which the objective was to develop conceptual understandings of the outcomes of PEP and the factors which influenced the implementation of these programs. Thus, the paper provides information about the impact of PEP and addresses some current issues about the analyses of large scale qualitative data sets.
