Abstract:
This paper reports some aspects of a study focussing on current issues concerning school-community relationships as perceived by parents and teachers in a particular Queensland state primary school. The study provides an example of action research that can be helpful both for understanding and for improving educational practice. The background and assumptions of the study will be discussed along with the implications of some of the findings.
