This paper describes the collection, analysis and portrayal of qualitative data on curriculum structures of primary preservice teacher education courses. The information was part of a national evaluation designed to assist institutions to review and improve the quality of courses offered to prospective primary school teachers. While the evaluation concentrated on the mathematics and science components, many of the findings will serve as a discussion for issues of data reduction and display when multiple site analyses are undertaken.
