REFLECTION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHING SKILLS: PRE-POST TESTING

Year: 1993

Type of paper: Abstract refereed

Abstract:
Koehler (1985) has claimed that research into the effectiveness of teacher education programs is often weak because the absence of control groups or pretests means that long term effects are not measured. In this study both a control group and pre-post testing formed part of the design, and the purpose of this paper is to report on this aspect of the project.
