Abstract:
A considered approach to the research methodologies used to engage with children and young people about the EYLF and MTOP in order to ensure that they have a say on ‘Frameworks that affect them’ will be described and discussed.  These research methodologies reflect the significance of collecting the diversity of voices of children, young people, and their families and communities. It will also reflect on the voices from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and their families and communities.  The session will share the analysis of the data collected and how it was embedded in thinking about the Frameworks that are used in early childhood and school age learning and care services.
