Abstract:
The DSSI data portal is a co-designed, custom web-based monitoring system designed to allow users to record information every five-weeks about the implementation of the DSSI initiatives, and the development and functioning of partnerships between schools and expert leaders and teachers. The system gives users access to customisable analytics on all the data entered, to enable them to build their own profile of evidence of school improvement that is specific to their individual goals. This paper will present the co-design process that was undertaken in collaboration with DET and participating school leaders and teachers to build the system and share evidence of how the portal is being used by teachers and leaders to support school improvement in their schools, including documenting the adaptations to planned improvement goals and activities captured during periods of remote learning and transitions back to face-to-face learning.
