Abstract:
The first paper will draw on interviews with the five members of the Arts writing team, undertaken five years after the implementation of the Arts curriculum. The focus will be on their personal motivation, creative leadership and collaborative effort in ensuring the Arts were included as a key learning area in the Australian Curriculum, as an important aspect of a socially just education.
