Abstract:
The positive relationship between individual intelligence and individual academic achievement has been well established. However, it remains to be seen whether an equivalent relationship exists between the collective intelligence of small groups (i.e. a group’s collective mental ability) and collective academic achievement (e.g. team assignments, group essays, joint exams, group presentations, etc.).
