The AARE/ISCAR Summer School is a five-day retreat for our Sociocultural and Activity Theory SIG members modelled on the Russian ISCAR Summer School tradition.
The school provides an opportunity for HDR students and ECRs in education research to spend concentrated time with senior researchers in Sociocultural and Activity Theory in order to advance their own expertise and to contribute to the development of Cultural Historical Activity Research in education.
The Summer School will be held over 5 days from 5pm Thursday 6 December to 3pm Tuesday 11 December 2018 (immediately following the AARE conference in Sydney) at Kihilla Retreat and Conference Centre, Lawson, NSW, http://www.kihilla.org.au/. Cost per person includes accommodation and three meals/day: $380.
