The Radford Lecture
A memorial to the late, distinguished educationist Dr William (Bill) Radford, the Radford Lecture is delivered each year by a distinguished figure in an area relevant to educational research.
Honorary Life Membership Award
Awarded for outstanding contribution to AARE and the Australian educational research community.
Distinguished Fellow Award for Outstanding Service
Awarded for outstanding service and contribution to the Australian Association for Research in Education over a sustained period of time.
Ray Debus Award For Doctoral Research In Education
This award is intended as a recognition of excellence in educational research by a doctoral student.
Betty Watts Indigenous Researcher Award
The Betty Watts Indigenous Researcher Award recognises an outstanding conference paper by a researcher who identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Early Career Researcher Award
The ECR Award recognises an outstanding conference paper by a researcher within 5 years of the award of their doctoral degree.
Postgraduate Student Researcher Awards
The Postgraduate Student Researcher Award recognises an outstanding conference paper by a postgraduate student researcher.
Indigenous Postgraduate Student Researcher Awards
The Indigenous Postgraduate Student Researcher Award recognises an outstanding conference paper by a postgraduate student researcher who identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
ACDE/AARE Postgraduate Student/ECR Poster Award
The ACDE/AARE Postgraduate student/ECR Poster Award is presented for the best poster presented at the AARE Annual Conference by a Postgraduate Student or Early Career Researcher. The Award is intended to support the participation and inclusion of postgraduate students and early career researchers in the educational research community.
Springer Award for Best Paper
Awarded for the best paper published in The Australian Educational Researcher on an annual basis.
Special Interest Group [SIG] Awards
Motivation & Learning SIG Award for Student Presentations
The Motivation and Learning SIG Award for student presentations recognises an outstanding conference paper submitted to the M-L SIG by an Honours/Postgraduate student.
