How new AARE NEWS works

AARE Executive approved a new style NEWS which will cut costs but provide members with a more frequent supply of information about AARE and educational research. The new format as you can see gives brief headlines plus one-liners and a URL for the full document which is located on the AARE web site in its subject matter classification. Also given in each short entry is the name and email address of the person responsible for the matter. If you opt to receive the NEWS by email the URLs and email addresses will be hypertext links to the document or the person.

Convenors Needed for AARE 2002 and 2003 Conferences

AARE is calling for propositions for venues and the academic leadership of annual conferences in 2002 and 2003 with full support services provided by AARE Office.

AARE Website Changes

AARE has moved all but the oldest conference papers along with everything else from Swinburne to our own domain and ISP. The old papers are still available on the CD 1990- 1999 published this year and available for purchase.

New Auditor Appointed and starts work

AARE has appointed Peter Wormington as Auditor and he has started work on the completed accounts from the 1999 joint conference.

GST Tax Invoices should not be paid twice

AARE 1999 Conference was required to issue GST Tax Invoices to 800 payees. Please don't join the 40 people who have paid twice so far, see letter you will get if you do.

Those people who have submitted abstracts have been notified of acceptance and invited to correct entries. The Abstracts will be on the AARE 2000 Conference web site but there will be a link to the location from AARE web site as well.
