Faculties nominate one thesis a year for consideration by a panel of experts from AARE to select the one thesis showing excellence in doctoral research. Postgraduate Student Travel Award to attend the AARE annual conference Honorary Life Membership Award for outstanding career achievements Betty Watts Indigenous Researcher Award for an outstanding AARE conference paper written by an Indigenous Australian researcher Early Career Researcher Award for an outstanding early career researcher paper presented at the annual conference Annual ConferenceThe annual, international conference of AARE is held in a different state or territory each year and sometimes with another international research association. The AARE conference is the premier event for educational researchers in Australia and the region. AARE awards are bestowed at the annual conference and the AARE AGM is held during the conference.
